![]() COMMUNITY PARTNERS The President’s Advisory Council (PAC) is an advisory committee of local business leaders who meet twice annually with college representatives. As leading local executives and employers, the council members are well positioned to provide information and suggestions regarding business and workforce training to the College. They also help the College identify economic programs or industry initiatives emerging in the North Bay region. The council supports SRJC as a leader of sustainable economic development.
OCCUPATIONAL ADVISORY COMMITTEES SRJC’s Occupational Advisory Committees assist occupational departments and programs to ensure that curriculum meets the needs of business and industry's current and future employees. The region’s business community has a long-standing tradition of active involvement and support for SRJC’s many occupational programs.
Currently, SRJC has 39 advisory committees with approximately 550 members that meet twice a year to advise faculty on many topics, including employment opportunities, the latest technology, curriculum, and changing industry trends. For more information about serving on an advisory committee, contact Debra Sands-Miller at (707) 524-1506 or dsands-miller@santarosa.edu. Click and download the Occupational Advisory Committees brochure that describes the committee’s purpose, function, and activities at (108K PDF). |
