SRJC-Independent Living Progrom
Independent Living Program

The Independent Living Program (ILP) has been part of SRJC since 1989. In partnership with Sonoma County Department of Human Services, ILP provides support and resources for youth ages 16-21 who are in foster placement or who are moving toward independent living. Classes, workshops, and events that cover topics such as college enrollment, housing, budgeting, banking, conflict resolution, safe choices, and goal setting, help develop skills and resources needed to become self sufficient. Independent Living Program is state and federally funded, and all classes are free.
