When you care for another's child, we care for you

The Foster & Kinship Care Education program (FKCE), part of SRJC since 1985, offers training and resources for foster parents, foster/adoptive parents, and relative caregivers caring for children who have come through Child Protective Services. Pre-service classes (Partnerships in Parenting), in-service workshops, conferences, and events are designed to provide education and support to families who are meeting the special needs of the children who may have experienced abuse, neglect, pre-natal exposure to drugs, and loss of family. FKCE is state funded, and all classes are free.
