The Computer Studies Department, previously the Computer and Information Sciences Department, renumbered all of its courses during the 2009-2010 academic year.
All courses that previously had a CIS prefix, for example CIS101A, now have a CS prefix and, in most cases, a new number.
In addition, office applications courses that were previously in the BOT Department have moved to the Computer Studies Department. They now start with the CS prefix as well.
This process was completed in spring 2010. Some courses had their "old" numbers for fall 2009, while some already had their new numbers.
To assist you in finding the course that you want, you may access the following tables that list each course with its old and new numbers:
In addition, here is an explanation of the new numbering scheme.
