Equine Science

Welcome to Equine Science at SRJC!

The Equine Science major is intended to certify that students completing this program are prepared to enter careers in equine science or transfer into equine science programs at state colleges and universities. Equine Science is concerned with the science, business and art of the production of the horse and with equitation and biomechanics of movement. Students in the Equine Science Program will receive training in the selection, feeding, and management of horses.
