Natural Resources Management Degree

The Natural Resources Management student assesses the composition, structure and function of forests and rangelands.  Students learn to embrace a land stewardship perspective that balances protecting natural environments and sustaining the products and services needed by people.  Land management practices that enhance biological sustainability for future generations of recreationalists, researchers and harvesters on public and private lands are highlighted.

Typical work of the Natural Resource Technician may include: restoration forestry, forestry measurements, wildlife habitat enhancement, fire suppression and treatment, and ecological research.
