Success Stories

"Fulfilling my passion for owning my own business was made more complete by enrolling in the SRJC Culinary Arts Program. The instructors, the curriculum, the hands-on experience prepared me well for the culinary aspect of our new Bed and Breakfast. The pastries and morning fare I am able to offer our guests puts us into another league and has made our business a greater success because of it."

"If you want to learn the full set of baker skills, start here. But watch out, you may discover that your passion is strong, your skills are great and that new doors can open! The courses are thorough and the instructors are at the top of their class; truly inspiring and great mentors. I walked in curious and walked out a baker. Now this is a great program!"

"As a woman in my 40s it was time to follow my passion of becoming a professional chef. The SRJC Culinary Arts Program made that dream a reality in only 3 semesters. Now I'm working every day and on my way to becoming a personal chef and entrepreneur. The instructors are incredibly talented and committed, providing high quality education to their students. With students ranging in age from 17-70, this has to be challenging, but they manage to make it comfortable and rewarding for all!

This experience has changed my life and I'm so much happier doing what I love. To my instructors: What you do really makes a difference in the lives of so many people. I thank you again and again! I couldn't have do it without you!"
