Tutorial Center and Writing Services
Process:
Get expert help writing your required Student Report at the Tutorial Centers located at both campuses. Students who are non-native speakers of English will find this help especially useful.
When you visit the Tutorial Centers identify yourself as a Work Experience Student. You must take your Student Handbook and a draft of your Student report (see page 34) to make the maximum use of your time with a tutor.
Days andd hours vary at each center on the two campuses. Check the website for details: www.santarosa.edu/instruction/instructional_department. All services are free to students.

Whether you just beginning your career exploration, or want to expand your career knowledge, our Career Development Services has useful information and services when you will find sound advice on resume preparation and interview techniques. Use our resource library to research jobs or take an assessment test to identify your best career fit. Our Career Developer is available by appointment to review your resume, help you to research other jobs in the field, or transfer your skills to a new field of interest.
Career Exploration: Using one of the computerized programs Eureka or Discover. (Can only receive 1 hour for Career Exploration).
Internet: Use book-marked sites to explore financial aid, school information, and career guidance.

During this activity you will be accessing information on interviewing through the website monster.com. You will participate in a “virtual interview” where you will be asked questions and asked to respond to multiple-choice questions.
Professionalism, Work Ethic, and Communication are emphasized in this activity.
Find an occupation that fits your personality and style. This activity
will allow you to assess your abilities, talents, needs, values, and
interests.
Analytical Skills and Job Knowledge are emphasized in this activity.

What are they and do you need to work on yours? This activity will lead
you through a variety of online activities to educate you on soft skills
