CTE HIGHLIGHTS

A Fresh Website for CTE

Happy New Year, and welcome back to SRJC's Spring 2010 Semester!

I am pleased to announce that the CTE Office - in close collaboration with Public Relations - has redesigned and updated the CTE Web site as part of our Strategic Plan: CTE web pages

Because all CTE departmental Web pages will be linked to the new CTE home page, we suggest that each department ensure that its pages have the most current and useful information.

Later in the semester we hope to assist the Curriculum Office in its continuing effort to update information on the college's Certificates Web page. As part of this process, the CTE Office will work with each CTE department to discuss their certificates and to compile current information about course requirements and suggested course sequences for all certificates. Having the most current information about SRJC certificates on our Web site is an invaluable service to students and schools across Sonoma County. If you have questions, contact Chuck Robbins at 527-4498 or crobbins@santarosa.edu.

In the weeks ahead, we will also schedule flex activities throughout the semester to discuss other key issues impacting CTE. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions on topics you would like addressed.

Thank you.

Lorraine Wilson
