Welcome to the Economic Development Institute (EDI) at Santa Rosa Junior College! We’re proud to help and support the North Bay’s business community in identifying and implementing sustainable economic solutions to the challenges faced in a competitive, global economy. 

The EDI

  • Inspires emergent partnerships in North Bay communities that support regional economic strength
  • Develops partnerships with businesses and other community organizations to participate in the continuing planning and economic development of the region
  • Serves as the primary SRJC point of contact for the local community on workforce training and economic development issues
  • Initiates, facilitates, and supports cooperative projects featuring SRJC faculty, college advisory committees, and North Bay businesses
  • Anticipates and responds to industry workforce training needs by developing practical, action-oriented solutions with local industry
  • Keeps college faculty and staff informed about the current and rapidly changing regional trends and demographics
  • Markets and promotes all SRJC business-related activities and instructional programs
