The instructional program comprises over fifteen diversified program areas serving the needs of vocational and transfer students, including the SRJC Shone Farm, consisting of over 365 acres of land, which offers "learning by doing" application in the various laboratories of the programs. Included in the farm operations are 60 acres of grapes, 5 acres sustainable agriculture vegetables and fruit, 100 acres of pasture for cow/calf, horse, and sheep herds, 120 acres of timber, and 50 acres of multi-use land. The Richard L. Thomas classroom was constructed on the farm in 2002 and the Warren G.
