Adjunct Faculty Pool Process


Applications will be accepted on an on-going basis for consideration of placement in adjunct faculty pools for a period of two years from the priority deadline date. "Current" pool recruitments are those that are currenly being advertised (the priority deadline has not yet been reached). "Ongoing" pool recruitments are those where the priority deadline has passed. If the department has an immediate need to add candidates to their pool, they will review those applications that are received by the priority deadline date. All applications received after the priority deadline will remain on file for the next review by the department. If the department does not have an immediate need to add candidates to their pool, all applications will remain on file until the need arises. If selected for interview, candidates will be required to appear for an oral interview before a screening committee. If selected for the pool, candidates remain in the pool for a period of two years. Teaching assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed.
