Foundation Committees 2012/13

Executive Committee
Reviews issues and matters concerning the Foundation during intervals between board meetings.

Bylaws
Reviews bylaws for possible updating, revision and amendments.

Development Committee
Guides the Foundation's fundraising efforts in support of the Board's strategic goals. This committee is comprised of board members, staff and volunteers who have fundraising experience, contacts and/or an interest in raising funds on behalf of Santa Rosa Junior College.

Investment Committee
Responsibilities include oversight, selection, and retention of any Investment Consultant and Managers employed to manage assets of the Foundation and reports quarterly to the Board of Directors.

Nominating Committee
Nominates appropriate candidates to the SRJC Foundation Board of Directors, organizes annual elections including a slate of officers, and maintains records/terms of each officer & standing committee member.

Planning, Budget and Audit
Assists SRJC Foundation Treasurer and Executive Director in preparing annual budget for board approval. Responsibilities include recommending to the board those activities the SRJC Foundation should undertake in carrying out its mission and incorporating strategic goals set by the board.

Ag Trust
Assists SRJC's Agriculture and Natural Resources programs in its fundraising activities and promotion.

Alumni & Friends Association
Membership in the SRJC Alumni & Friends Association is open to anyone who has attended Santa Rosa Junior College and those who have an interest in the success of Santa Rosa Junior College.

Bear Cub Athletic Trust
Assists SRJC’s Physical Education, Dance & Athletic Department in its fundraising activities and in perpetuating the excellent name and reputation of SRJC.

Friends of Petaluma Campus Trust
Support the educational programs of the Petaluma Campus through resource development, including direct contributions and promotional activities.
