Giving to SRJC

There are many different reasons why friends, alumni, and supporters of Santa Rosa Junior College make charitable contributions to the SRJC Foundation. Some give because of ideological commitment, some because of a desire to support the arts or sciences. Still, others give out of compassion for the needs of our students.

Gifts to the Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation provide support to the programs, services and students of Santa Rosa Junior College.

Here are ways to make a gift to the SRJC Foundation:

  • Gifts of Cash payable by check or credit card to the SRJC Foundation
  • Appreciated Securities fair market value is tax-deductible as a gift.
  • Closely Held Stock allows the same benefits as donations of other securities.
  • Life Insurance Policies can be transferred to the SRJC Foundation, or the SRJC Foundation can be named when creating a new policy.
  • Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Remainder Trusts can produce immediate tax benefits and income for life when directed to the SRJC Foundation.
  • Bequests can specify how you would like your estate to benefit Santa Rosa Junior College in your will or living trust.

Establishing an Endowment

You can establish an endowment fund to benefit Santa Rosa Junior College. A minimum of $10,000 is required for endowed funds.

How does an endowment work?

*Funds are treated as principal and are permanently invested.

*Earnings from the investments are distributed each year.

*Endowment provides a solid base for annual funding to support student success, program enhancement and community enrichment.

*All investments are managed professionally in a diversified portfolio.

*The donor may designate the endowment name and its purpose.

*Endowment is an on-going means of support for higher education in Sonoma County.

What are the benefits of being an endowment donor?

*Prominent honor for donor and their family, company or organization.

*Community recognition through Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation's Circle of Honor and publications.

President's Circle & Annual Fund Gifts

Your unrestricted gift helps sustain the programs, and operations of the SRJC Foundation. You can be included in the President's Circle with an unrestricted gift of $1,000 or greater.

Donations to the President's Circle are used to support the SRJC Foundation's fund development program, which enhances eduation, services and facilities at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Members of the President's Circle are a select group of distinguished individuals whose generosity, qualities of leadership, understanding of the college, and faith in its mission provide vital support to SRJC.

Your membership in the President's Circle provides the SRJC Foundation with a strong fiscal position to meet future challenges. Contributors like you allow us to continue our efforts to fulfill this mission.

Silver Circle

$1,000 and greater

Benefits: Honored guest at the President's Dinner, listed in the Honor Roll of Donors published annually, and a donor recognition reception in a wine country home.

Gold Circle

$2,500 and greater

Benefits: Gold Circle members receive all of the benefits of the Silver Circle level plus you will be a guest for lunch at the SRJC Culinary Cafe with a member of the SRJC Foundation Board of Directors.

Platinum Circle

$5,000 and greater

Benefits: You will receive all of the Silver and Gold Circle honors and will be receive tickets to select SRJC events including musical and theatrical performances.

Diamond Circle

$10,000 and greater

Benefits: Diamond Circle members receive all of the Silver, Gold and Platinum Circle honors and will be invited to an exclusive "Diamond Circle Luncheon," hosted by college president, Dr. Robert F. Agrella
