Public Schools Week - May 8-13, 2015 SRJC is participating in the second annual Public Schools Week which is presented by the Sonoma County Office of Education. This year's theme is "Educating Leaders for Tomorrow." Stop by the SRJC tables at Coddingtown Mall to see how Santa Rosa Junior College is a natural and excellent choice for post-secondary education in Sonoma County.

This event welcomes about 200 high school Seniors and their Counselors/Teachers from the District’s small high schools to our Santa Rosa Campus for presentations and important information about the Steps to SRJC, Student Life and Engagement, and more. New this year, the event will also feature an “Outreach Fair” showcasing the many programs providing outreach services to our prospective students.

SRJC is offering outreach services at the Santa Rosa Plaza, January 4-12, 2014, and special Saturday service at both of our campuses on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Please see details below come by for help with applying and/or registering at SRJC for the spring semester:

New Way to Order SRJC Transcripts
Admissions and Records has an new online service for ordering transcripts. Santa Rosa Junior College now works with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to provide current and former students with official SRJC transcripts. This new paperless ordering system helps support Sustainability at SRJC.
To order official transcripts, students can simply go to www.getmytranscript.com or click on “Official Transcript Request” in their Student Portal. In addition, students may request Enrollment and Degree Verifications through the NSC in their Student Portal as well.
Public Safety Career Day Saturday, September 7, 2013

You are invited to an action-packed day devoted to the exciting programs offered at SRJC including Law Enforcement, Fire Technology, Emergency Medical Care, Park Ranger, Corrections, and Public Safety Dispatcher.
Program orientations addressing job dimensions and entrance requirements
Representatives from North Bay Area public safety agencies available to answer your questions and engage in recruiting
Financial aid information
Demonstrations of public safety equipment
Access to training simulators
All participants must pre-register for AJ 714 section #3806 (0 units, no cost) at www.santarosa.edu
Police reading/writing exam participants must also pre-register by calling 707.836.2909
High school students must submit a Concurrent High School Enrichment form with signatures from high school counselor, principal, and parent. This form must be submitted to SRJC Admissions & Records prior to event. If form is not on file, high school student may not participate.
Bring a bag lunch, ball-point pen, and pencil
Wear loose clothing, preferably sweat pants and shirt or a jogging suit. Quality running shoes are recommended for some light physical training activity.
Santa Rosa Junior College is pleased and excited to announce that our three-decades-old
tradition of opening the College to its community will return May 5, 2013.
Day Under The Oaks will showcase exhibits, activities, and attractions from all our
campuses and sites including: exhibits and demonstrations from instructional departments,
a delicious multicultural array of foods from our student clubs, the traditional
Native American dancers, magic shows in the Chemistry Lab, Planetarium shows, petting
zoo, music, and so much more!
This year we'll be offering something special for high
school Seniors! At Day Under the Oaks, there will be a drop-in workshop
provided for high school Seniors who would like assistance with completing their
online application for admission to SRJC. Drop in any time between 11:30 AM and
3:30 PM on Sunday, May 5th to the Bertolini Student Center, 2nd Floor Counseling
office and get help with your online application for summer. Open registration starts
on Monday, May 6th, so this is the last chance to get help with your online application
before registering for summer classes.

Middle School and High School Students are invited to attend the upcoming Career
Night 2013, presented by the SRJC EOPS Department:
will have the opportunity to make a connection with professionals in many fields

A separate event, the Job & Internship
Fair (previously called the Career Fair) is scheduled for April 24th, but
is not an event intended for middle and high school field trips this year. The Job & Internship
Fair is a hiring and internship event provided for SRJC students and employers with
current job opportunities. Middle school and high school students should attend the
College Night 2013 on April 3rd for the opportunity to participate in a career-information
event at SRJC this spring.
Effective summer 2012, SRJC implemented newlimitations regarding
course repetition and withdrawal in a single course. For more information,
