In addition, a significant aspect of our mission is to promote and maintain a learning community that is safe, lawful and responsive to individual rights. SRJC Enforces No Smoking Ordinance With the opening of the fall semester, which starts August 17, 2009, the SRJC District Police will begin issuing citations to enforce the City of Santa Rosa’s no-smoking ordinance on and near the Santa Rosa Campus and SRJC’s Southwest Center. Smoking is prohibited not only on the college’s property, but also within 20 feet of all District property, including all sidewalks and a portion of the city streets adjacent to college property.
