4th in STATE 2007
2nd at NORCAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
2nd in BIG 8 CONFERENCE

Santa Rosa Junior College Women's Water Polo had a history-making 2007 season with a roster that was dominated by 11 freshmen and two returning sophomore leaders. In this past season, the Cubs finished second overall in the very competitive Big 8 Conference, took second place at NorCals, advanced to the State Championship Tournament, played into the bronze medal match at the state tournament, and finished fourth in the state overall with a 21-8 record. SRJC has advanced to the NorCal Playoff Tournament six out of the last seven years. We have produced more than 20 all conference players, 14 All Northern California players, two conference MVP's, 11 All Americans, and over 20 All-Academic student athletes. This team is comprised of athletes who understand the meaning of commitment and effort. Coach McCormick recruits athletes who not only demonstrate a high level of team work, focus, and discipline in the pool and in the classroom, but who also like to have fun with their team and enjoy competition.
