The SRJC Men's Swim and Dive Team took tenth at the 2006 Community College State Championships, after completing three of their
most successful seasons in Bear Cub swimming history. In the past two years the Bear Cub 
men have broken
11 school records. The Santa Rosa Junior College Swim and Dive Team has
been in existence for 30 years including numerous state champions and
team titles. We compete in the California Community Colleges League. We belong
to the Big Seven Conference, arguabley one of the strongest conferences in the state, giving us a great slate of dual meets, rivalries,
and a very fast 
Conference Championship Meet. We have a strong men's program that consistently attracts
swimmers and divers at the national level as well as athletes willing
to improve to that level. During our recent seasons we have placed
in the top three in our conference and the top five at state, including many
All American athletes. Our team consistently breaks records and continues
to compete at a top level against other teams in the state. Coach McCormick
recruits athletes who not only demonstrate a high level of teamwork,
focus, and discipline in the pool and in the classroom, but who also
like to have fun with their team and enjoy competition.
