Santa Rosa
Junior College Men's Golf Team has enjoyed a fine tradition of excellence over the past decade, in addition to producing championship teams, we have also developed many top amateurs. The 2009 team, with Coach David Herrington and Assistant Brad Muster, finished second in the Big 8 Conference with an average score of 76.4 and qualified for the Northern California Regional Championship at Mira Vista Golf and Country Club in El Cerrito, California. Of the 11 qualified teams, SRJC finished third with an average score of 75.4 and moved on to the California Community College Championship. The State Championship was held at Sierra View Golf & Country Club, in Roseville, CA where SRJC finished seventh in the state with an average score of 73.8.

The Bear Cubs home course, Windsor Golf Course, the host of six PGA Nike Tour events will be used again for the 2010 season. The 2010 season will be led by returning sophomores Steven Warner, Brennen Ramey, and Benjamin Peters. With the potential provided by a solid group of incoming freshmen, the sites have been set to reestablish the winning ways of the SRJC Bear Cubs golf team.
