Academic
Senate
This site provides information about the Academic Senate, including Senate
members and officers, constitution, and Senate committee appointments.
All Faculty
Association
AFA is the collective bargaining agent for Unit A, regular and adjunct credit
and non-credit faculty at SRJC. With the exception of the Seniors Program,
Unit B, which is represented by AFT. This site has many resources, including
an online copy of the AFA/District contract, a list of AFA Executive Council
members, adjunct faculty benefits information, contact information, and
scheduled meeting times.
Board
of Trustees
This site provides a list of current Board of Trustees members as well as
a link to minutes of Board meetings.
Calendar
of SRJC Events
This site provides a calendar of SRJC events and deadlines.
Certificates
This site provides detailed and up-to-date information about all SRJC certificates.
Classified
Senate
This site provides information about the Classified Senate including constitution,
bylaws, senators, minutes, agenda, and events.
Committees
This site lists many of the college committees, their functions, and their
composition. Some committees also have minutes posted online.
Computing
Services and Information Technology
This site has information regarding the status of the computer services
for the campus, email access, policies, and pricing of computers.
Course Outlines
of Record
Official course outlines of record for all SRJC courses. Instructors are
required to structure their courses and syllabi to align with this description.
To enter a course, use the course prefix and number exactly as listed in
the class schedule. This site has a password protection – check with
your department chair or supervisor for the password.
Crisis
Intervention Resource Guide
Choose “resources” link. This helpful guide assists instructors
in dealing with student behaviors such as disruption, inordinate demands
for time, verbal threats or abuse, physical threat or assault, damage to
college property, misuse of drugs or alcohol, or threats or attempts of
suicide. Contact people are available to help.
Curriculum
Contains the Quick Curriculum Guide, curriculum forms, sample course outlines, and curriculum resources, such as links to online CSU and UC catalogs.
Department Chair Resources
This site is under development and will contain policies and procedures
of Academic Affairs regarding who to contact for assistance, scheduling,
budgets, purchasing, planning, handling student complaints, and other related
matters. This site will replace the Enchiridion binders as a source of information
for department chairs.
Disability
Resources
This site provides information about the department as well as a useful
guide, Faculty Handbook: A Guide for Working with Students with Disabilities
at Santa Rosa Junior College.
Economic
Development Institute
This site provides access to information about workforce training, work
experience and internships, Redwood Empire Small Business Development Center,
with a link to a monthly online newsletter, SRJC WORKS, that informs the
North Bay about SRJC’s new courses, community projects, business-related
evens, and resources.
Emergency Handbook
These bright yellow handbooks are posted in every classroom and in service
centers and offices around the campus. Information also available online;
please visit the Emergency
Preparedness Web site.
Environmental
Health and Safety
This web link provides information Emergency Preparedness, first aid, fire
safety, electrical safety, battery disposal, supervisor responsibilities,
and available videos. An online form for reporting hazards is available.
Safety training requirements for certain categories of employees are listed.
Fact Book
This online resource provides factual information about Santa Rosa Junior
College, including an overview of the community demographics, student demographics,
employee demographics, enrollment trends, institutional effectiveness, and
financial and capital outlay.
Faculty
and Staff Handbook
This Handbook contains information about college governance, routine procedures,
college programs and services, and other useful guidelines and information
(such as copyright guidelines and sexual harassment information).
Faculty Flex Program
Flexible professional development activity for regular
and adjunct faculty — information and links to forms for Flex Verification
and Independent
Flex and Special Group Proposal forms.
Foundation
This site provides information about the SRJC Foundation, a separate entity
from the college that does fund raising on behalf of the college and its
programs.
Human Resources
This site includes job applications, job descriptions, salary schedules,
benefits descriptions, evaluation forms, and other useful resources.
Insider
SRJC Insider, a publication for all SRJC employees, is available weekly
online. Those on the campus email distribution list should receive notices
whenever a new issue is published.
International
Studies
This site provides information about International Studies Committee including
opportunities for faculty to teach abroad and for students to study abroad.
Library
This site has general information about the library, connection to the online
library catalog (OPAC), access to electronic databases, and connect to the
Internet Reference Collection page which has links to all types of websites
arranged by broad subjects. An important link “Information
for Faculty” provides resources for faculty, including an online,
searchable Media catalog.
LOOKUP
Lookup is a site that allows individuals to check faculty load, faculty
schedules, class enrollments, room use, enrollment efficiency, and to print
class rosters with student phone numbers. This site has a pass word, which
you can secure from your department chair or supervisor.
Majors
This site provides detailed and up-to-date information about occupational
and transfer majors available at SRJC.
Media Services
This link in the Library web site provides a searchable online Media catalog
for faculty.
Office
of Institutional Research
This web site provides useful information about the research functions at
the college and access to the current and previous editions of The Fact
Book , a compilation of useful data about the college and its students.
Policy and
Procedure Manual
This web site contains the approved Board policies and procedures of the
college and includes a search engine.
Planning
Data
LOOKUP includes useful program planning data, including instructors schedules,
instructor load, course outlines of record, enrollments, enrollment efficiency,
closed class demand reports, LOOKUP data is current-time data and only available
for the past three semesters. LOOKUP has a password that you can obtain
from your department chair or supervisor.
Purchasing
This web site includes important general information about purchasing, instructions
for Financial 2000 (online purchasing program), and important board policies
about bids, quotes, and unauthorized purchases.
SRJC Documents
This site includes links to accreditation reports, institutional goals,
advisory committee, college organizational charts, mission statement, policy
manual, fact books, special reports, the Institutional Master Plan.
Staff
Development
This site provides staff development resources for faculty, classified staff,
and management team. Resources include Faculty and Staff Handbook, Crisis
Intervention Handbook, Professional Development Activities Day (PDA) schedules,
professional development opportunities, and staff development forms.
