All Classified Staff Members:

May 2009 marks the 15th year of the Classified Senate. Thank you to all classified staff members who have made Classified Senate a success!

It's time, once again, to elect senators for open sectors and, officers for the Classified Senate! But, first we must proceed with the nomination process.

If you are interested in running for a senate seat, please complete the Candidate Declaration and Nomination form attached. Terms are for two (2) years, beginning August 2009. You can nominate someone else or yourself. If nominating yourself, fill in both forms. If nominating someone else, just fill in the Nomination form.

The Senate meets once a month for an hour (with release time). Meetings are currently scheduled for the last Thursday of the month from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.

You may submit the Candidate Declaration below and Nomination form attached via e-mail (fbyrn@santarosa.edu) or return the completed forms to the Classified Senate Mailbox in Bailey Hall by 4:00 P.M., Friday, May 8, 2009.

Ballots will be distributed to all classified staff as soon as we have a list of candidates compiled.
