Larry was an Audio Visual Production Tech in
Media Services.
"He was a truly beautiful soul."
What we remember about him and want to always remember him for:
He was extremely helpful and professional when I worked with him to make slide shows for classroom use.
Larry Bennett was a quiet guy, kept to himself a lot, but anytime I needed his help in the Library, he impressed me with his level of expertise.
He was truly a professional.
Larry didn't joke around much, but I had enough practice with Lee Seghezzi that I was able to get him to crack a smile once or twice.
He made me realize the truth in the saying, "Still waters run deep."
I best remember and miss his unique senses of humor; Larry's was dark
He was an old curmudgeon and proud of it, a real prickly pear.
Larry had a most wonderful wry wit!!
His helpfulness and his dry sense of humor.
The care that Larry took when working on projects. I wouldn't have been able to do them without his help.
He should be remembered for: Larry turned many a photograph (sometimes a fairly odd one) into a beautiful and professional-looking 35 mm color slide for my use in the classroom.
I miss him and his wit

Larry Bennett was his own special creation.
He had a biting wit, and made sarcasm a fine art.
He liked to push people, to challenge them, and make them push back.
He life was deeply impacted by his Vietnam experience, but he found his soul in the process.
People never really saw the beauty that he hid. He was a truly beautiful soul.
I miss him not being part of the SRJC experience anymore....
