Office Safety
It's just an office, not a lab full of chemicals or a shop full of machinery.
But nearly half of all college accidents occur in office settings. There's a
lot you can do to make your workplace a safe place, especially if you supervise
other people. What safety issues should every administrative employee be aware
of at SRJC? The links below cover the topics and resources you should be familiar
with.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
SRJC faculty, staff, students, and visitors have a right to a safe, healthful
work environment. Campus procedures must be done safely, as described in the
college Injury & Illness Prevention Program. This applies to all SRJC faculty,
staff, students, guests and volunteers. In order to work, all SRJC personnel
must also understand their responsibilities under this plan.
An extraordinary variety of occupational pursuits are being carried out
each day and night at SRJC. What do you need to know to work safely?
