The committee helps introduce faculty to the pedagogy and technology of online instruction, guides experienced faculty in the areas of more advanced technical tools and sophisticated teaching methods, and recommends standards, guidelines, and best practices for students and faculty in online classes. If you're interested in participating in the DOC or would like to receive assistance from the committee in the realm of Web-based education, please contact a co-chair or one of the members.

This site is divided into several different general categories, including Getting Started, Best Practices, etc. Use the navigational links at the left to reach each of those pages where you'll find a plethora of information and further links to additional resources.

The site also includes a link to Committee Info with further information about the committee itself, its members, mission statement, minutes, etc.
