Proposed Process for Establishing Instructional Computing Performance Parameters
- Create a Needs Assessment Tool (try to utilize Institutional Research Dept) Parameters should include items such as: methods of access, training, hours of technical support, clear communication and security issues. (Be sure to look at last years CIS requests)
- Offer formal and accessible campus presentations for orientation of the Needs Assessment Tool. Target both Dept chair / Managers meeting and Academic Affairs meetings.
- Widely Distribute Assessment Tool to all departments at all District locations (SR, PET, Two Rock).
- Work with the Associated Student Body to gain useful student input.
- Follow up with departments who have/have not replied to the survey
- Analyze Results (be sure to include all potential providers in discussions)
- Compare with other institutions
- Distribute the proposed Performance Expectations.
- Create plan for Implementation.
