1. Minutes

2. Update on "Spring Break" Survey
Renee LoPilato reported that hundreds have been returned. There is no count yet.
3. Policy Draft: Limitations on Cr/NCr coursework
Renee and Karen Kellam reported that various issues continue to emerge, including technical problems associated with enforcing a limitation for associate degree coursework only. Student Services will bring this back after these matters are further explored.
4. Final Exam Update
Ed Buckley distributed a slightly revised draft and received further suggestions. A third draft will be routed to EPCC for information and sent on to College Council.
5. Overview from Terri Frongia of Curriculum Issues and Developmental Education Initiatives
Terri and EPCC discussed a number of problems with our curriculum development process. Among them: unapproved courses that find their way into the schedule of classes, the lack of adequate training of faculty and staff regarding the demands of the process and various technical issues, and the large number of courses that probably should have stronger prerequisites or advisories. The Developmental Education Task Force is utilizing ear-marked CFPID funds to continue with two major studies, to send faculty to major conferences, and to encourage departments to develop 100 level courses to complement the existing ones in English, Math, and College Skills.
