A Good Place to Start
CIS offers several introductory courses for the novice with little or no computer experience. They include:
- CIS 101A Intro to the PC
- CIS 101B Personal Computer Concepts and Practice
- CIS 105A Introduction to Macintosh
- CIS 105B More Introduction to Macintosh
Students with limited computer experience may want to consider CIS 76 Software Sampler, which combines introductory concepts with a survey of Microsoft Office.
Transfer students will be interested in CIS 5 Computer Literacy and CIS 66 Management Information Systems.
