Web Development Courses
The
Web is clearly one of the most significant
technological advances of the 20th century
and we invite you to learn more about it. Students
who enroll in Web Development courses may be
training for a full or part time career, updating
skills for their current job, hoping to start
their own Web-based business, or using their
skills for personal enrichment. Whatever your
educational goals we have courses which will
meet your needs.
Email the course
coordinator at lhemenway@santarosa.edu further
information.
Web Production Courses
Most students begin with the production area where they learn HTML - the "lingua franca" of the Web and then move on to a WYSIWYG Editor such as Dreamweaver, or GoLive. Students can also expand on their HTML skills by delving into XML and CSS. As
a capstone to the production courses
we offer the "Web Content Practicum " course
which allows students to work on a team
as a Content Developer or Project Manager
to develop a Web site for a local non-profit
organization.
