Adobe
Illustrator Certification
Graphics professionals work with two types of
graphics: raster and vector graphics. Adobe Illustrator is considered one of the leading vector
graphics programs for both print and web. Skills mastered in this certificate benefit the graphic
designer, web designer, prepress professional, and desktop publisher. Although this is not a career
certificate, this award will enhance the recipient's value in the job market.
This certificate prepares the student for the Adobe
Certified Expert (ACE) industry exam in Illustrator. In addition
to the preparation provided by this certificate, desktop publishers should also have a good
understanding of design, layout, typography, and color.
