The Child Development Department at Santa Rosa Junior College
is ready to give you the assistance you need to make sure that
your home is a great place for children and parents. We offer
a variety of classes that help you offer a rewarding, exciting
and nurturing environment for the children you serve.
WE NOW OFFER CLASSES ON-LINE JUST FOR FAMILY DAY CARE PROVIDERS
We know that the family child care provider works long hours and has trouble attending
classes during the day or in the evenings, so we'll bring the classes to you. With our on-line
classes you can attend during the hours that are convenient for you without leaving your home.
Presently we offer 4 different courses specifically for the family child care provider. They are:
- Child 262.6 Business Aspects of Operating a Family Child Care Home
- Child 262.7 Creating Partnerships with Parents in Family Child Care Homes
- Child 262.8 Creating Learning Environments in the Family Child Care Home
- Child 262.9 Curriculum and Guidance for Chldren in Mixed Aged Settings
