SUPPORT FOR CHILD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM DIRECTORS
The SRJC Child Development Department is pleased
to co-sponsor monthly "Brown Bag" seminars for child development
program directors and their staff. We are partners with Sonoma
County Association for the Education of Young Children and
the Sonoma County Child Development Quality Improvement Consortium
in this effort.
Directors meet monthly at a local venue and
have a chance to explore a relevant topic with guest speakers.
This is a great way for directors to overcome the isolation
of their job and to keep abreast of current issues they face.
It also provides an opportunity for directors to share concerns
and get help problem-solving issues they face daily.
The Brown Bag meetings are open to the public and there is
no charge for participating.
