In order to offer the best possible education to the students at SRJC and maintain the highest educational quality, the Academic Senate recommends that the Institutional Planning Council establish a task force to study faculty and classified staffing, especially the reliance on part-time faculty and classified employees. This task force should be made up of representatives from the Academic Senate, the classified staff, the All Faculty Association, the Associated Students and the administration. The goal of the task force should be to develop a plan for hiring more full-time classified employees and faculty which is consistent with our institutional goals of educational quality and institutional effectiveness.
