Objective 1.1

(Enrollment)

Education Plan

The Petaluma Campus will continue to enhance access to education and training opportunities in south Sonoma County through incremental, efficient growth.

 

  • Fall 2000 enrollment at the Petaluma Campus demonstrated growth of + 1.16 over Fall 1999. The addition f the SRJC Technology Academy is expected to provide more FTES, but short of the 5% goal.

(Student Services Plan)

  • The Student Services Coordinator/Counselor has been hired and is charged with developing a Student Services plan in conjunction with the Santa Rosa Campus Student Services managers.

Objective 2.1 (Alternative Delivery Instructional Program)

Alternative Instructional Delivery

The Petaluma Campus will continue to develop, implement, and evaluate alternative delivery instruction and student service formats.

Objective 3.1 (External Funding Sources)

Develop External Funding

The Petaluma Campus will continue to examine and develop external funding sources to enhance the overall delivery of instruction and services.

 

  • Petaluma Campus has collaborated with North Bay Employment Connection on a successful grant from the Dept. of Labor (H1B) providing $600,000 funding over two years.

Objective 3.2 (Friends of Petaluma Campus)

  • 60% Development Officer hired to guide development of fundraising and provide leadership for the Friends of the Petaluma Campus.

  • Developed a plan for additional funding to raise $300,000 from corporate partners

SRJC Technology Academy

The Petaluma Campus will develop, implement, and evaluate workforce training through the SRJC Technology Academy.
