Objective 1.1 (Improve parking at Santa Rosa, Petaluma and Windsor Sites) |
Five-Year (5) Parking and Transportation Plan In concert with College Police, Administrative Services will develop a Five-Year (5) Parking and Transportation Plan
The Chief of District Police and Vice President for Administrative Services have reviewed existing plans, fee structures and are developing a revised Parking and Transportation Plan by the end of the Spring Semester, 2001. |
Phase I fee increases were adopted by the Board of Trustees at its December meeting. |

Objective 1.2 (Parking lot and campus paving) |
During the fall of 2000, the College completed the re-paving and striping of parking lots adjacent to Santa Rosa High School. Additional re-striping and re-paving projects are currently out to bid for the Santa Rosa campus. |
The Santa Rosa campus increased its on-site parking by 125 spaces in the fall of 2000. 144 spaces will be added as part of the Spring/Summer re-striping project. |

Objective 2.1 (District Wide Plan & Implementation) |
AB 75 Compliance Administrative Services will assist the District in achieving compliance with State of California mandated AB75 Integrated Waste Management Law. The Supervisor of Grounds led the development of the District Integrated Waste Management Plan and has begun the implementation phase.

. SRJC has been awarded a $25,000.00 recycling grant from the State Board for Integrated Waste Management for acquisition of 23 new recycling system bins.

Objective 3.1 (PSTC Project & Administration of Justice Remodel) |
Public Safety Training Center Project Provide modern, complete, District-owned facility for a full Public Safety Training Center in Windsor and updated facilities for the Administration of Justice Program at the Santa Rosa Campus. SRJC successfully bid and had State funds released to start the construction of the Public Safety Training Center by October, 2000. The Administration of Justice classroom remodel was completed during the fall Semester, 2000 consolidating on-campus Administration of Justice program space. |
The PSTC is on target for completion in March, 2002. The Administration of Justice Program has moved and offers programs in the remodeled facility. |

Objective 4.1 (Replace existing email system) |
Outlook Messaging Service (Implement a new College-wide messaging system using Microsoft Exchange and Outlook and expand the College Wide Information System - CWIS) The Outlook Exchange messaging system was installed during the Summer, 2000 and expanded email access to nearly 2000 college community members.

Objective 5.1 (Improve Computing Services service to SRJC) |
Computing Services Level of Service Investigate and implement methods to improve Computing Services’ levels of service to all College users. Computing Services staff task force and Vice President for Administrative Services, in consultation with selected members of College Community, commenced a review of Computing Services levels of service to SRJC. Draft review document is under review. |
Task force has developed series of recommendations for internal and external improvements.

Computing Services Task Force and Vice President for Administrative Services currently review possible strategies designed to improve internal and external communication and service. |

Objective 5.3 (Technology Staffing Issues) |
Computing Services researched and provided data informing the classification study and impacts on technology positions. Additionally, Computing Services has made staffing recommendations currently under review by Vice President. |
Combination of new salary levels and slowing economy may make SRJC technology positions more attractive. |

Objective 5.4 (Staff Training) |
As part of Task Force review, Computing Services has developed training recommendations to keep staff current and empowered to better assist and mentor college clientele. |

Objective 6.1 (Identify Institutional Research Needs) |
Comprehensive Research Agenda Administrative Services and the new Office of Institutional Research will develop a comprehensive research agenda for the college during 2000-01. OIR staff members have begun development of a comprehensive research agenda in consultation with Institutional Research Advisory Group (IRAG)

STNC staff hired to assist in the completion of continuing matriculation research and to develop new areas of research. |
