Master Plan Outline
Provide the mission statement of the department/program.
Briefly describe the program, its purpose, major services and the characteristics of students served.
Provide a brief summary of service/client trends in the department/program, including data based trends over the past five years. Highlight student outcomes, accomplishments.
Describe any changes in the educational environment that will impact department/program services. (i.e., institutional goals, PfE, schedule template, new state mandates, etc.)
Describe major external factors that will impact your department/program. (i.e., technology, changes in the workplace, or the shortage of vanilla ice cream, etc.)
Based on program review, evaluations, needs assessment, and other data, identify staffing needs in the next five years. (Administrators, faculty, classified).
Typical hardware, software, etc.
Identify problem areas or inadequacies in existing facilities and proposed modifications.
