BACKGROUND
Each year the District submits its plans for the Hazardous Materials Projects to the Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges. This year's submittal includes the following projects which, if approved by the State, will be 100% State funded.
District Priority Project Amount
1 Remove Hydraulic Tanks $108,000.00
from Lounibos and Facilities
2. Demolish and clean-up of lead $188,400.00
at Los Guilucos Firing Range
3. Asbestos Tile Removal $ 6,240.00
BUDGET IMPACT
$302,640.00 Hazardous Materials Projects (100% State funded)
ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the submittal of the 2000/2001 Hazardous Materials Project to the State of California.
