BACKGROUND
Each February the District submits its plans for the Capital Outlay program to the Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges. The 2000-2005 Five Year Capital Outlay Program is provided for Board review and approval. During the course of the year, the plan, which is subject to State review, will be periodically revised as new cost data is provided. The plan is heavily dependent upon State funding. Only the first three priority items are actually in the current State review process. The remaining projects are considered as "placeholders" informing the State of the College's future needs. The Chancellor's Office typically supports at least one viable project per District site location. Hence, Chancellor's Office staff continues to support the processing of proposals for the Library and Petaluma Campus Phase II.
