RE: Notice ofDecision to Appraise, South Wright Road Project

Santa Rosa Junior College District:

The Sonoma County Department of Transportation and Public Works

("Department") is proposing to reconstruct a portion of South Wright Road. A

portion of your property located on South Wright Road, Santa Rosa, CA 95407

(Assessor's Parcel No.035-141-012) is located in the general area being

considered for the project. However, no decision has yet been made to acquire

.your property for the proposed project. Before that decision can be made, the law

, provides that the property first be appraised.

We have been contracted to appraise the land and/or easements necessary to

complete this project. If you wish to accompany me at the time of my inspection

of the subject property, please call my office at (707) 539-2269. Please respond

to this request by December 21, 1999.

This notice does not constitute an offer to purchase your property nor does it

establish eligibility of the owner and/or any other occupant for relocation

assistance or relocation payments. Upon completion of the appraisal and if the

Department continues to consider the acquisition of your property , a

representative will contact you to discuss the acquisition in detail.

I have enclosed my business card and an information brochure to answer common

questions regarding property acquisitions by public agencies.
