BACKGROUND

The Town of Windsor has offered several millions of gallons of reclaimed water for SRJC's Shone Farm on a multi-year basis. The agreement allows the Town of Windsor to supply tertiary treated reclaimed water for agricultural irrigation purposes, install irrigation equipment for SRJC usage and maintain the system in exchange for a water line right-away through the Shone Farm property. This proposed arrangement has had considerable staff involvement and review by the Board Facilities Committee.

At this writing, the College is awaiting legal counsel's review of the proposed agreement. Prior to submission to the Board of Trustees, the Board Facilities Committee will review the agreement at its February 1^st meeting. The agreement will be forwarded to the Board under separate cover.
