BACKGROUND

This project will provide a gravel road improvement from the horticulture unit to the vineyards and add some staff and student parking spaces. The cost estimate for this project is $30,000.00 to be drawn from the Shone Farm Account.

Given the intent to have the project completed prior to the commencement of the winter rainy season, staff requests permission to award the bid to the lowest responsive bidder contingent upon the bid being within budget.

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the award of bid for the Shone Farm Road and Parking Improvements Project, contingent upon the amount being within budget.
