BACKGROUND

The existing thirty-year-old (30) air-handling units in the interior and shower areas of the Quinn Swim Center need replacement. This scheduled maintenance project replaces the existing old, failing system. The total estimated construction cost is $245,000.00.

The results of the March 27th bid opening will be available prior to the Board meeting.

 

 

 

 

BUDGET IMPACT

$122,500.00 Capital Projects Fund 41 (50%)

$122,500.00 State of California Scheduled Maintenance Funds (50%)

 

 

 

ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the award of bid for the Quinn Swim Center HVAC Scheduled Maintenance Project, contingent upon the amount being within budget.
