BACKGROUND
The Los Guilucos Firing Range Hazardous Material Removal Project will remove accumulated lead from the old Public Safety Training Center. Upon the completion of the lead abatement project, acceptable to regulatory standards, the facility, via a termination agreement, will be turned over to the County of Sonoma. The hazardous materials removal project is one hundred percent (100%) state funded. If the project comes within the project budget, staff seeks Board permission to award the contract and have it ratified at the March Board meeting.
BUDGET IMPACT
$145,000.00 State of California (100%)
ADMINISTRATIVE RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the Board of Trustees approve the award of bid for the Los Guilucos Firing Range Hazardous Material Removal Project, contingent upon the amount being within budget.
