Re: SRT endowment -Donor recognition

Frank Zwolinksi, Linda Frank, and I, along with an Advisory Board drawn from the

community are seeking to raise a substantial ($6 million) endowment in support of

SRT scholarships. This endowment will make SRT much more viable in that ticket

revenues can then be used in support of the program rather than being diverted to

student scholarships. This will be a major campaign this spring and into the summer

with the 30th anniversary Gala event.

As you know, recognizing donors of generous gifts is an important part of a fund-

raising campaign such as this. We are seeking permission to do the following:

.Create a "donor wall" in Luther Burbank Auditorium Lobby for recognition of

Lifelong Friends of SRT

.Name the theater within Luther Burbank Auditorium to honor a major donor

.Name several rooms within Luther Burbank Auditorium to honor donors

.Attach small engraved labels to seats in auditorium in recognition of donors

Please see a DRAFT of gift levels attached.

In order to successfully launch this campaign this spring, we will need to this

permission during February. Please let me know who can grant this permission

and what we need to do.

Donor has SRT Theater within Burbank Auditorium named in their honor.

Donor recognized as a Lifelong Friend of SRT with two free tickets to any

SRT performance for the next 30 years.

$450,000 Endows fifteen scholarships every summer in perpetuity.

Donor has SRT Lobby within Burbank Auditorium named in their honor.

Donor recognized as a Lifelong Friend of SRT with two free tickets to any

SRT performance for the next 30 years.

$150,000 Endows five scholarships every summer in perpetuity.

Donor has an SRT facility (costume shop, scene shop, make-up room, or box

office) named in their honor. Donor recognized as a Lifelong Friend of SRT

with two free tickets to any SRT performance for the next 30 years.

$40,000 Underwrites the production costs for one major musical.

Donor acknowledged in all promotional materials. Donor recognized as a

Lifelong Friend of SRT on a plaque in Burbank Auditorium Lobby and with

two free tickets to any SRI performance for the next 30 years.

$30,000 Endows one named scholarship ever:-' summer in perpetuity.

Donor receives photo and letter from scholarship recipient each summer .

Donor recognized as a Lifelong Friend of SRT on a plaque in Burbank

Auditorium Lobby and with two free tickets to any SRT performance for the

next 30 years.

$25,000 Underwrites the production costs for one dramatic production.

Donor acknowledged in all promotional materials. Donor recognized as

Lifelong Friend of SRT on plaque in Burbank Auditorium Lobby and with

~ two free tickets to any SRI performance for the next 30 years.

$10,000 Endows one seat in Burbank Auditorium.

Donor recognized as a Friend of SRI with small engraved plaque on a

designated seat. Donor receives season ticket to SRT.

$1,500 Donor provides one scholarship to one student for one season.

Donor receives letter and photo of scholarship recipient and a season ticket

to SRT .
