Artist Statement

The drawings that I have submitted were done over a period of time. The one that is dated is from 1991 and it was done at the bi-weekly drawing sessions hat are still held, I hope, at U.C. Berkeley and that are open to the drawing public. The others were done at various drawing sessions I have participated in over the years.

What virtues may have are reflective of the high standards of the people I have drawing with in the past who has included Elmer Bischoff, Frank Lobdell, James Weeks, Nathan Oliveira and Alvin Light.
