ESL Study Guide

The English as a Second Language Placement test is required for Placement in English as a Second Language credit classes. There is no fee for this test. First you will need to fill out an Admission Application and get a student ID number. It is recommended that you make an appointment to take the test. You can go to Assessment Services in Plover Hall or call 527-4881. You will receive your results by the end of the next business day. The test takes one hour to complete. Please arrive on time. Latecomers will not be admitted after the test begins!

Para tomar clases de inglés como segundo idioma de crédito necesita tomar un examen de inglés. Los exámenes son gratuitos. El examen dura una hora. No se permite entrar después que empiece el examen. Primero necesita llenar una solicitud de Admisión y se  le dará un número estudiantil y después puede hacer el examen. Es preferible que haga una cita para hacer el examen. Favor de ir al departamento de exámenes localizado en Plover Hall o llame al 527-4881 para más información.

Los resultados estarán disponibles 24 horas después del examen. ¡Favor de llegar con tiempo! No se permite la entrada después que empieza el examen.

Retake and Challenge Process: Any student having questions about their test results, retaking a test or wanting to challenge their recommended placement should call (707) 527-4382 and make an appointment to meet with a counselor.
