Scholarship Office

The Scholarship Department staff is dedicated to helping students reach their education goals and receive scholarship assistance. Scholarship specialists will help you with specific questions about Doyle Scholarships, Foundation Scholarships, and our growing Business/Community Scholarship Program. We also operate a Scholarship Resource Center to assist you in your scholarship search.

As a result of interactions with Student Financial Services, including Financial Aid, Scholarship Programs and Veterans Affairs, we anticipate that students will:

  • Apply for and receive financial assistance that they qualify for, to assist with the costs of attending college;
  • Learn to manage finances, plan a budget and understand the costs associated with attending SRJC and/or four-year institutions; and
  • Identify conditions that are likely to contribute to, or interfere with, their academic performance.

What is a scholarship?
A scholarship is a gift of money paid for the benefit of a student at an educational institution to aid in the pursuit of studies.

Where does scholarship money come from?
Three funding sources support the scholarship programs at Santa Rosa Junior College: Doyle Scholarship Funds, Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation and Endowed Scholarship Funds, and Business and Community Outside Scholarship Funds.

Who may apply for SRJC Scholarships?
At Santa Rosa Junior College, scholarship money is offered to incoming, continuing, and transferring students.

What are the general eligibility criteria for scholarships? Scholarships recognize outstanding students for academic achievement, financial need, academic field of study, community service, campus activities, and outside interests.
