Exit Loan Counseling Requirement

You must complete the EdFund’s Exit Counseling for Borrowers before your last loan disbursement can be initiated with your lender.You can meet this requirement at Santa Rosa Junior college by completing the On-Line Counseling.

You will need to access the Internet. If you do not have access to the Internet, you may use the computers in the SRJC Financial Aid office to complete your exit counseling. Go to the EdFund web site and complete the online Exit Counseling for Borrowers. The web site is: http://www.edfund.org.

Select the EDTE$T icon. Under Student Access, select California, and click Get Schools. Select SRJC from the pull-down menu, select your enrollment level, and click Continue. Choose EXIT COUNSELING and take the test to complete your loan counseling requirement.

If this is your first time taking EDTE$T, you’ll be asked to provide two references including names, addresses and phone numbers. The first should be a parent; the second can be a friend or relative. Have this information available when you take the test.
