Financial Aid Dates and Deadlines

Financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis with priority given to students who complete their application by March 2 prior to the school year. The school will review your application and request supplemental documentation and more information if needed to complete your file. Once all documentation is received and reviewed, you will receive an award letter. The following are important dates:

January 1, 2011 2011-2012 FAFSA forms available
January 3, 2011 2011-2012 SRJC Foundation Continuing & Transferring Scholarship applications available.
March 1, 2011 Deadline for 2011-2012 SRJC Foundation Scholarship applications.
March 2, 2011 Cal Grant GPA Verification (postmark) deadline to apply for a Cal Grant A, B, or C, for the 2011-2012 academic year.

SRJC Financial Aid priority filing deadline for the 2011-2012 academic year.
March 15, 2011 Last day to apply for a 2010-2011 Stafford Loan at SRJC.

Last day to submit a 2010-2011 Special Conditions Request.
March 18, 2011 Last day to complete your financial aid file by submitting required documents for the 2010-2011 year.
September 2, 2011 Secondary deadline for Cal Grant - only for community college students. If you have completed at least 16 degree applicable units by the end of the summer term, Santa Rosa Junior College will send your GPA electronically on your behalf.
