  • Take placement tests to qualify for English, ESL, math, and chemistry courses. For testing schedule and study guides, check online to www.santarosa.edu/assessment or call (707) 527-4661 (Santa Rosa) or (707) 778-3914 (Petaluma).

  • During the months of June, July, and August, after you have attended an orientation, return to the Welcome Center to speak with a counselor.
  • For both new and continuing students, please call (707) 527-4451 (Santa Rosa) and (707) 778-3914 (Petaluma).
  • For adult reentry students, call (707) 527-4375 to find out when counselors are available.

    To make the most of counseling:
  • Bring official transcripts from other colleges.
  • Bring AP test scores.
  • Review the current Schedule of Classes online at www.santarosa.edu/schedule/ and make a list of possible classes.
