Scholarship Information for International Students

These scholarships are available for International students at Santa Rosa Junior College. All of the following scholarships are based on grade performance. Most American colleges determine student performance by using a Grade Point Average system, or G.P.A. This system calculates all the grades you receive into an average. This average number is also used to determine your eligibility for scholarships. Students with higher grades are usually eligible for more scholarship money. Most scholarships have a specific time period during each year when students can apply. Your application must be submitted by the deadline to be considered. We encourage you to apply for these scholarships:

Santa Rosa Junior College Foundation Continuing Student Scholarship
For students who have attended SRJC for one semester and completed at least 12 units. Based on grade performance (G.P.A.) and financial need. Applications for the Continuing Student Scholarship are usually available January 1st through March 1st.

SRJC Foundation Transferring Student Scholarship
For students who have already completed at least 56 units at SRJC. Based on grade performance (G.P.A.) and financial need. Applications for the Transferring Student Scholarship are usually available January 1st through March 1st.

Margaret B. Trussell Memorial Scholarships
For students who have already completed at least 12 units at SRJC. Individual award of $550.00, awarded in Fall semester. Based on grade performance (G.P.A.) and financial need. Applications available in February.

Judson Memorial Scholarship
For students who have already completed at least 12 units at SRJC. Individual award of $550.00, awarded in Fall semester. Based on grade performance (G.P.A.) and financial need. Applications available in February.

Alex Ling Memorial Scholarship
For students who have already completed at least 12 units at SRJC. Individual award of $500.00, awarded in Spring semester. Based on grade performance (G.P.A.) and financial need. Applications available in October.
